TERMS

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the basic rules for using the website, booking sessions, making payments, and interacting with the practice.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and, where relevant, to online booking and payment features offered by Prakriti Nanda.

By using the website or submitting a booking, the visitor agrees to comply with these terms and any additional practice policies presented during the booking process.

2. Therapy services

The website provides information about psychotherapy services offered by Prakriti Nanda.

Confirm the exact scope of service, client eligibility, session format, and professional limitations during the booking or intake process. Website content alone does not create a therapist-client relationship.

3. No emergency or crisis service

This website, contact form, booking system, and ordinary email communication should not be treated as an emergency or crisis-response service.

Add the therapist’s approved emergency-language and local crisis-resource guidance here if required by the practice’s professional standards.

4. Bookings

Appointments are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the booking system shows a successful confirmation.

Clients are responsible for selecting the correct session type, date, time, and contact information. Availability shown online may change until a booking is fully confirmed.

5. Session types and duration

The current website structure includes:

• 15-minute introductory call
• 50-minute individual therapy session
• 90-minute extended individual therapy session

Update these options if the therapist changes services, durations, or eligibility requirements.

6. Fees and payment

Session fees vary depending on the client’s location. Rates may differ for clients in India versus those in the United States or other countries. The applicable fee for each session will be shown during the booking process before you complete payment.

Available session types may include:

  • 15-minute introductory call
  • 50-minute therapy session
  • 90-minute extended therapy session

All fees will be shown in the applicable currency before payment.

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another approved payment provider. Depending on the client’s location, payment method, and currency, additional taxes, currency-conversion charges, bank charges, or payment-processing fees may apply.

The fee displayed and confirmed at the time of booking will be the applicable fee for that appointment.

7. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling rules are governed by the practice’s separate Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy.

Before launch, ensure that the final cancellation window, late-cancellation fee, no-show policy, refund treatment, and rescheduling process are clearly stated and linked from the booking flow.

8. Late arrival and missed sessions

Add the therapist’s approved late-arrival and no-show policy here. For example, clarify whether a late start shortens the session, whether the full fee remains payable, and when an appointment is treated as missed.

9. Technology and online sessions

Online sessions depend on internet connectivity, compatible devices, and third-party communication services.

Clients are responsible for joining from a reasonably private and suitable location and for ensuring they have the technology required for the session. The practice cannot guarantee uninterrupted access where a technical failure is outside its reasonable control.

10. Calendar and scheduling integrations

The website may use tools such as LatePoint for booking appointments or other third-party scheduling services.

Booking availability may depend on these systems syncing correctly. If a technical error creates a conflict, the practice may need to contact the client to rearrange the appointment.

11. Contact forms and communications

General website forms and email should be used for practical enquiries, not emergencies. Visitors should avoid sending unnecessary highly sensitive information through general website forms.

Response times should be stated separately and should not be represented as immediate unless the practice actually provides immediate support.

12. Website information

Website and blog content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It should not be treated as individualized clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for a professional therapeutic relationship.

The practice may update or remove website content at any time.

13. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate booking and contact information, attending appointments at the confirmed time, reviewing practice policies, and communicating changes that may materially affect scheduling or service eligibility.

14. Professional scope and eligibility

The therapist may only be able to work with clients in locations where doing so is professionally and legally permitted.

A booking request may be declined or cancelled if the therapist determines that the service is outside professional scope, outside permitted jurisdiction, or otherwise not appropriate for the practice.

15. Refunds

Add the approved refund policy here. Clarify how refunds are handled for duplicate payments, cancellations made within the permitted window, technical errors, therapist cancellations, and any non-refundable fees.

16. Third-party services

The website may depend on third-party services for hosting, forms, booking, calendars, payments, analytics, email, or video sessions.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. The practice is not responsible for outages or failures completely outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

17. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, original graphics, downloadable materials, and other original content belong to Prakriti Nanda or are used with permission.

Visitors may not reproduce or commercially reuse protected content without permission, except where permitted by law.

18. Limitation of liability

The final liability language should be reviewed professionally and adapted to applicable law. Avoid broad or absolute exclusions that may be unenforceable.

At minimum, distinguish between ordinary website-information use, third-party technical failures, and the separately governed professional relationship between therapist and client.

19. Privacy

Use of personal information is governed by the website’s Privacy Policy. The final Terms should link to that policy and remain consistent with it.

20. Changes to services or terms

The practice may update these terms, session options, fees, booking processes, or website features from time to time.

Where a material change affects an existing booking or client arrangement, the practice should communicate that change appropriately.

21. Governing law and disputes

Add the approved governing-law and dispute-resolution wording here after confirming the legal entity, practice location, and jurisdictions in which services are offered.

Do not publish a guessed jurisdiction.
